This summer, we dare you to add a little flare to your denim wardrobe. Yes, the 70′s silhouette has made a come back and thanks to versions from our favorite denim labels like Joe’s, Citizens, and Seven for All Mankind, we are lusting for hip hugging, bell bottoms. The look is perfect for laid back summer days and balmy nights, especially when paired with a tank or halter top, and a cute pair of sandals.
If you’re feeling as though this look may not be right for you, don’t fret. We understand that one flare does not fit all and therefore have a variety of different washes, rises, and leg openings. When I think of summer, I think of dresses. There’s something about the sunshine and the warm breezes that makes me want to wear something free-flowing and feminine. This is definitely my girliest time of year. And I may be making this up, but I really believe that dresses are probably the most comfortable thing to wear when the temperature soars to an unbearable degree. Whether long or short, strapless, tank, or with a little sleeve, a dress is probably the quickest way to get out of the house and on with your errands or to an event, looking pretty and put together. This summer, Susana Monaco, Three Dots, and Michael Stars have some of our favorite dress styles, perfect for just about any occasion you can imagine, from barbecue to wedding.

Often, when I think of casual summer wear, I think of Juicy Couture’s comfy Terry separates. They’ve definitely become a staple to lounge around in, and the fun, vibrant colors put them in the VIP section of my closet as soon as the weather turns warm. Joe's Jeans The Skinny Micro Flare
With memories of Memorial Day weekend still fresh in my mind and the summer solstice only a few days away, I would like to confess that I’ve already pulled out my white jeans and worn them all over town… Several times. It’s to the point that I’m considering a new pair… Or two. I mean, at the rate I’m going, I’ll definitely need several back ups if I have plans on wearing them ’till Labor Day. And if you’ve taken a look at our massive white denim inventory, with skinny, cropped, bootcut, and flared styles from all of our favorite brands, you wouldn’t blame me. Not one bit.

Chances are, you know someone who is taking a trip down the aisle in the next few months or so. For everyone involved (bride, groom, wedding party, friends, and family) this is a romantic, exciting… and sometimes stressful time. There’s so much to do and so much to look forward to! In the midst of all of the preparation, our friends at Juicy Couture are reminding us all to have fun with the introduction of their adorable Limited Edition 2011 Bride and Groom Charms. The miniature groom and bride are both dressed in white and have “I DO” written in fuchsia pink on the back. It’s such a cute way to celebrate the new couple in your life.
