Generally, when you live in LA you see people wearing shorts all year around and are perfectly within your rights to join in. But despite sunshine and mild weather that knows no seasonal bounds, somehow I always feel a little odd bearing my thighs and knees in what most of the country considers to be the dead of winter. Needless to say, the seasonal change has given me permission to indulge in the carefree, casual styling of what I lovingly refer to as “the abbreviated pant”.
