This summer, we dare you to add a little flare to your denim wardrobe. Yes, the 70′s silhouette has made a come back and thanks to versions from our favorite denim labels like Joe’s, Citizens, and Seven for All Mankind, we are lusting for hip hugging, bell bottoms. The look is perfect for laid back summer days and balmy nights, especially when paired with a tank or halter top, and a cute pair of sandals.

If you’re feeling as though this look may not be right for you, don’t fret. We understand that one flare does not fit all and therefore have a variety of different washes, rises, and leg openings. Newer flare styles tend to have a higher rise and leg openings can range from a modest 18 inches, to a sweeping 27 inches. When I think of summer, I think of dresses. There’s something about the sunshine and the warm breezes that makes me want to wear something free-flowing and feminine. This is definitely my girliest time of year.  And I may be making this up, but I really believe that dresses are probably the most comfortable thing to wear when the temperature soars to an unbearable degree. Whether long or short, strapless, tank, or with a little sleeve, a dress is probably the quickest way to get out of the house and on with your errands or to an event, looking pretty and put together. Often, when I think of casual summer wear, I think of Juicy Couture’s comfy Terry separates. It never occurred to me to rock my velour past winter, but it actually makes sense! Juicy Couture velour is a luxurious cotton blend that can easily transition into every season.

With memories of Memorial Day weekend still fresh in my mind and the summer solstice only a few days away, I would like to confess that I’ve already pulled out my white jeans and worn them all over town… Several times. It’s to the point that I’m considering a new pair… Or two. I mean, at the rate I’m going, I’ll definitely need several back ups if I have plans on wearing them ’till Labor Day.
