When I think of summer, I think of dresses. There’s something about the sunshine and the warm breezes that makes me want to wear something free-flowing and feminine. This is definitely my girliest time of year. And I may be making this up, but I really believe that dresses are probably the most comfortable thing to wear when the temperature soars to an unbearable degree. Whether long or short, strapless, tank, or with a little sleeve, a dress is probably the quickest way to get out of the house and on with your errands or to an event, looking pretty and put together. This summer, Susana Monaco, Three Dots, and Michael Stars have some of our favorite dress styles, perfect for just about any occasion you can imagine, from barbecue to wedding.

I’ve been curious about this for a little while, so just for fun, I decided to ask a few of the guys that I know what their favorite part of the female anatomy is. Besides the obvious, less family friendly answers, two parts that continued to be mentioned among the males were the shoulders and arms. I can’t say that I’m surprised, since the shoulders have a sexy, feminine curvaceousness that is undoubtedly alluring. That, coupled with the First Lady, Michelle Obama igniting a nation-wide obsession with great, toned arms, one chic ensemble at a time, makes it all so apparent. So to that, I say, “Bring on the sleeveless!” Slather on the SPF 30 and let those arms and shoulders get a little sun.

Since the start of the spring season, the Maxi Dress has been in full effect. It’s a breezy, chic style solution that we revisit time and time again and never seem to get tired of . This sophisticated trend has been fueled by many of our favorite fashionistas and has a broad spectrum of interpretation that ranges from earthy-bohemian to seductively glamorous.

As you may already know, I love a busy print, and often my favorite canvas for a bold floral or psychedelic tie-dye is the Maxi Dress.
